Use word-count ranges and delivery timing guidance to keep the final version focused, comfortable, and room-safe.
Vows carry more weight per word than any toast. 1 to 3 minutes — roughly 100 to 300 words spoken slowly — is plenty to say everything that matters.
Spoken delivery runs 100 to 150 words per minute, so a target time translates directly into a word-count range for your draft.
